Okay, so I totally painted this like 3 or 4 months ago and never shared it with the internets. Oops! Anyway, here is my little Drug Bunny, which captures my fondness for fluffy rabbit hats and pills that look like candy. Even though I loathe the winter (which is pretty much non-existent in my new city, Seattle – hooray!), I guess it can still be glamourous and inspirational when you are so far removed from the snow.
Not a very festive post, but nonetheless: Happy Valentines Day, darlings!

This collection is like a weird psychedelic bubblegum birthday party! I am crazy about those embroidery cut-out dresses, heart details and kitschy cartoon bears, plus I am totally digging the pastel/cherry red color combo. Also, did they pull a Regina George on that cardigan? Pretty amazing.
Also! Rookie has a slideshow of some detail shots and behind the scenes peeks at the collection and progress, with commentary from Edward Meadham.

Just got these awesome buttons, pressed by the fine folks at Busy Beaver Button Co., and I am soooo happy with how they turned out! I just listed the Swan Twins set in my Etsy shop and I am giving out the bunny buttons as a freebie with every order!
I PROMISE I will start making some more substantial posts here! Things have been a little hectic as I am getting ready to move to Seattle in a few weeks!!

I just listed a bunch of these little hand painted wood heart pins in my Etsy shop! Take a look!

I have been thinking about vintage, cartoon-y poison bottles lately, so I decided to paint one on a 4×6 canvas. It’s sealed it with a glitter varnish for extra fanciness. Making mini paintings is pretty quick + fun! I’d like to make some more soon. If you take a peek at my shop, it’s now up for sale there!
I came across a stack of cute birthday, christmas and valentines that my mom received in the 60s when she was a kid. The illustrations are dreamy! Here are my favorites:

I made some felt badges this week and listed them up on my Etsy. Check them out!
